DESCRIPTION:Our tour guide\, James Duncan\, of the Urban Forest and Tree Resources Division of Miami-Dade RER-DERM (That means he’s a tree expert!)\, will take us on a tour of the varied habitats along the Commodore Trail. We’ll visit mangroves\, hardwood hammocks\, and landscaped urban areas to learn about their ecological status today\, their history\, and their future. \nThe ride will go north along the Commodore Trail for about 2 miles concluding at The Underline/Vizcaya station overpass. Stops will include Vizcaya and Alice Wainwright Park. \nPlease wear bike helmets and bring H2O! \nKids under 16 are FREE \nPURCHASE TICKETS \nTicket proceeds support Friends of the Commodore Trail’s advocacy for a safe and environmentally sustainable Trail.

CGSC members Antony and Cora Barran grow these tasty oysters on their farm on Willapa Bay of Washington State\, and they will be harvested an shipped fresh\, so if you don’t buy a ticket\,\,\,No oysters for you! Yikes! The evening will showcase the finest oysters\, clams and seafood from the Pacific Northwest. The shellfish will be flown fresh for this special event\, thus the Thursday deadline. \n \n(Pssst…Want to impress someone on a great Grove date night?  This is the way to create memories and great stories.) \n \nThe Sailing Club is a central landmark of life on The Commodore Trail and your Friends are proud to support their good work. \nOyster Fest tickets
