Commodore’s Quest: A Poetry Scavenger Hunt
April 20 @ 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
| Free – $15.The Trail joins this year’s O,Miami Poetry Festival with a family-friendly event!
Coconut Grove pioneer Commodore Ralph Munroe has left us a map with clues leading to hidden sights and quirky Grove treasures along his namesake trail. Participants of all ages are invited to join a scavenger hunt on the Commodore Trail and through The Barnacle’s hardwood hammock—the same trails and pathways traveled by Coconut Grove’s early founders.
At the end of the hunt, the map will lead participants to The Barnacle, the Commodore’s real, historic home, for a lawn party with games, food, drinks, and other goodies from O, Miami, SWWIM, Friends of the Commodore Trail, and The Barnacle Society.
