Commodore Trail Spring History Tour

Get ready to be fascinated! Within just a few blocks, we’ll visit historic North Grove sites that tell the stories of the pioneers who transformed Coconut Grove from a tropical wilderness into a thriving community.

Our trio of docents will spin the tales of Ralph Munroe, the original “Commodore,” the Peacocks who ran the Peacock Inn, the Housekeepers Club of Coconut Grove, the Bahamian community matriarch Mariah Browne and much more, including flora and fauna along the Trail.
